How does the program work?
Once signed up as an authorized buyer, we will issue a confidential account number and password to access a special Web site designed specifically for you. The site allows you to:

What happens when I place an order?
After your initial order, our credit department will contact your business to establish a line of credit. Once your credit line is established, we will expedite the order immediately.
Will there be any regional support for technical information and service?
This would be your local Generac Industrial Dealer. By establishing a rapport with your dealer, you will be developing a mutually beneficial business arrangement that will profit both of your companies. The dealer-s role is two-fold -
For standby power requirements outside the program product offerings or over 150 kW, your Generac dealer is the "go to" source to handle such requests. The dealer sales staff will be happy to assist you. They possess knowledge of the product and specification process to ensure that such projects receive proper attention, fulfillment and support.
What's included in the price?
Your online price includes shipping and coverage under Generac's outstanding two year standard limited warranty. The price you see is the price you pay.
How competitive will my price be?
Because of our vertical integration and volume production, Generac has long been regarded as the price benchmark in the industry. You will find, for example, that residential product prices are competitive with the largest home center retailers. This product offering will provide you with very strong margins.
Generac also runs seasonal promotions with additional discounts and specials.
What lead times should I anticipate for my orders?
The majority of our product is available for quick shipment. The chart below summarizes common lead times, which may be extended unpredictably due to extraordinary events.

How will my account be set up with Generac?
Terms are net 30 days. At the time of your first order, our credit department will request that you fill out a credit application. Upon receipt, the credit department will notify you of your credit limit.
My electrical distributorship has multiple branches. How will Generac administer my business?
Each branch will have a separate account number with its own Website user ID and password.
Each branch should place orders using its own account. The 'bill to' information for all branches can be the same if you have centralized payables. The Generac dealer assigned to your branches may vary by location.
What is Generac's warranty for these products?
Please note that a certified Generac servicing dealer must perform all warranty service work.
If one of my electrical contractors has a generator job that is outside the area served by my Generac dealer, who will perform service?
Generac has a national network of certified dealers who perform service and start-up. If a job is outside the area serviced by your Generac dealer, the Generac servicing dealer closest to the job will perform the service. Those arrangements will be coordinated for you.
When I have questions, whom do I call?
Your Generac dealer will be your normal contact concerning service related issues such as service, preventive maintenance, parts and repair. The dealer can also quote jobs that have requirements not met through the program.
Generac Power Systems should be your contact concerning all other issues including order-related matters and technical support. This will be through our 1-888-GENERAC toll free phone line that will be staffed by dedicated order and technical support personnel.
How do I interest my electrical contractor customers in this program?
To help you, Generac has developed specially designed brochures for you to include with your invoice statements to the electrical contractors. The brochures can be labeled with your company's contact information. We have found this to be an effective tool to help establish your business as a source for generator equipment. Additionally, we have point of purchase information available for your store area.
What is Generac doing to promote this business?
Generac plans to support this sales channel and drive additional business to you with a variety of promotional and advertising initiatives aimed at both electrical contractors and end users.
